I'm Michelle Morrison, Founder and Travel Advisor at My Traveling Owl, and I am an Alaska Cruise Tour & Cruise Travel Specialist, along with ocean cruises, river cruises, escorted land vacations, and group travel around the world.

I founded My Traveling Owl in 2017 because I love helping people sort through all the choices that come with planning a vacation. I don't believe the best trip is automatically the cheapest one or the first itinerary you find online. My job is to help you understand your options, compare the differences, and choose the vacation that makes the most sense for your travel style, interests, time, comfort level, and budget.

Why work with an Alaska Cruise & Cruise Tour Specialist? I've personally traveled Alaska by cruise, rail, motorcoach, and land, including Denali and the Yukon. Those experiences have taught me that two Alaska itineraries that look similar on paper can actually be very different trips. I use what I've learned firsthand to help my clients decide what is truly the right fit for them.

Education is also a big part of what I do. I'm a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through The Travel Institute and an Elite Cruise Counsellor (ECC) through Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). I continually train with the cruise lines and travel partners I recommend and also serve as a Distinctive Voyages Host on select sailings.
